In meinen Kursen oder auch im Buch, kommt immer wieder die Frage auf, wie genau ich Hautfarbe mische. Mit Pastenfarben ist das schwer genau zu sagen. Ein klein wenig mehr Ivory und die Farbe sieht sofort wieder anders aus. Daher habe ich mich hingesetzt und mit den neuen Farben von Masse Ticino Sugarpaste gespielt.
In my classes and in my book, there is always the question how to achive skin colour. That's hard to say, as you know with a little bit more or less Ivory paste etc. the colour changes immediately. So I sat down and played with the new coloured Sugarpaste by Massa Ticino.

Für Hautfarbe habe ich Red, Yellow, Ivory und White verwendet. Zunächst 1 Teil (z.B. 5g) Rot, 1 Teil (z.B. 5g) Yellow und 2 Teile (z.B. 10g) White mischen. Von diesem Mix dann 1 Teil (z.B. 5g) mit 10 Teilen (z.B. 50g) Ivory mischen.
Ich habe Red, Yellow und White pur aus der Packung verwendet und nur den Ivory Anteil vorher mit CMC gemischt um Modellierfondate zu erhalten (in dem Mischungsverhältnis wie ihr gerne damit arbeitet). Da der Anteil des "weichen" Fondants nicht so hoch ist, konnte ich mit dem fertigen Hautton sehr gut modellieren.
For skin colour I used Red, Yellow, Ivory and White. For the basic mix take 1 part (for example 5g) Red, 1 part (for example 5g) Yellow and 2 parts (for example 10g) White. Mix well. This is your main mix. From this mix you need 1 part (for example 5g) and mix it with 10parts (for example 50g) Ivory, to get the skin tone. For the mix I took the sugarpaste straight from the packet, but mixed the Ivory sugarpaste with CMC to get modelling paste (used the mix ratio you are normally working with). As the "soft" part of the finished mix isn't so high, the ready skin tone is working really well for me, to model my figurines.
